After earning a Master of Arts from WSU, Dr. Corry taught at North Dakota State University where she served as Interior Design and Facility Management Program Coordinators. She has been with the University of Idaho since 2001 and has taught the majority of courses offered by the ID program, and especially enjoys teaching History of Interiors and design studios. Dr. Corry’s research focuses on Universal Design, Social Justice Issues and cultural responsibility in design. She recently served as the Pacific West Regional Chair of the Interior Design Educators Council and has been a member of the City of Moscow Fair Housing Commission for the past five years. Dr. Corry is also a Service Learning Fellow here at the University of Idaho and the President Athena, the university’s women’s leadership organization. A highlight for Dr. Corry in the past two years has received 6 Alumni Awards of Excellence for mentorship, and the Hoffman Teaching Excellence Award.
