Administratively, Phillip Mead is an associate architecture program coordinator at the University of Idaho's College of Art and Architecture. He currently teaches Architectural History, Environmental Control Systems, Design Studio and a Wellness and Design seminar for the college as well. While at the University of Texas, Phillip studied and worked under Charles W. Moore who was an early pioneer of the Postmodern Architecture Movement. He has also contributed to the San Diego works of Antoine Predock and Bertram Goodhue. He has formerly taught at the Newschool of Architecture in San Diego and Texas Tech University. His current research examines wellness issues in design which encompasses a range of disciplines from environmental control systems to architectural history.
