Idaho WWAMI Mini Medical School Video Library
The Idaho WWAMI Medical Education Program in partnership with the University of Idaho and University of Washington School of Medicine is making available its annual Mini Medical School to the general public via a video library. The 2010 focus was Dermatology ’SKIN, the Body Protector’. Future programs will appear on this web page as they are available. Mini Medical School is typically held in February and March of each year.
2010 Program
The program consists of eight presentations which can be viewed individually: ● Anatomy/Physiology ● Skin Health ● Childhood Exanthems ● Neonatal Skin Disorders ● Skin Cancer-Non-Melanoma ● Skin Cancer—Melanoma ● Dermatitis: Why Is It Itchy ● Cutaneous Manifestations of Systemic Disease. Please click on the links below to view a topic. Each is approximately one hour in length.
Using this program implementation method will provide access to Idaho citizens throughout the state and at anytime. Please give us your feedback on this new approach of distribution of the Mini Medical School at, 208-364-4546 or clauhass@uw.edu.
WWAMI is the five‐state regional medical education program of the University of Washington School of Medicine including Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho and is Idaho’s medical education program. The program provides medical school access to citizens within the five‐state region at in‐state tuition. For more information, call (208) 364-4544 or e-mail chauhass@uw.edu.
