Vaccine and Immunity - Christine Hahn, M.D.

Dr. Hahn attended Medical School at Michigan State University, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic’s Graduate School of Medicine, then completed a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Duke University Medical Center.
After a 2-year training in public health epidemiology with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, she became the Idaho state epidemiologist in the Idaho Division of Public Health.
She also serves as the state’s TB controller and the medical director of the Division of Health’s preparedness program, and since September 2009, oversees the immunization program.
She served as president of the national Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists from 2004-2005.
Currently, in addition to serving as the state epidemiologist, she is a member of the infection control committees of Saint Alphonsus and St Lukes Regional Medical Centers in Boise.
