Twin Falls R&E Center

The Twin Falls Research and Extension Center is located in South Central Idaho in Twin Falls on the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) campus in the Evergreen Building. The Twin Falls Research and Extension Center office supports the cooperative extension system and agricultural research programs in South Central Idaho. University of Idaho faculty and staff from agricultural economics and rural sociology; animal and veterinary science; biological and agricultural engineering; plant, soil and entomological sciences; and the College of Natural Resources are housed in the facility.

Faculty scientists are supported by staff and work with the people of Idaho to address locally identified needs. Collaborative relationships with numerous agencies, groups, and individuals result in a vast array of innovative educational programs. The Twin Falls Research and Extension Center faculty and staff also support District III county extension programs, which are conducted by faculty located in eleven county extension offices in South Central Idaho. Major research and extension programs are conducted on agriculture, natural resources, youth, family, community, and environmental issues.

Students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science & Technology in South Central Idaho. The University of Idaho College of Agricultural and Life Sciences offers the third and fourth years of a bachelor of science degree at the University of Idaho, Twin Falls Research & Extension Center on the CSI Campus. This cooperative program builds on CSI's associate of arts degree in agribusiness and is designed for students who want a broad education with an emphasis in agriculture.
