Natural Resources

Natural Resources

The MNR degree is an interdisciplinary, non-thesis degree focused on natural resource management and administration in the College of Natural Resources. This unique, professional degree is accessible to all students and will help graduates develop the credentials and skills to become effective natural resource leaders. This degree provides the breadth and depth of a variety of natural resource fields. Certificate programs, such as the Restoration Ecology Certificate, can be used to augment the MNR program. The 30 semester credits (which includes a 2-credit hour final project presentation) may be completed entirely online in about 2-3 semesters. Credit hours are taken in these four study areas:

  • Policy, Planning and Law
  • Ecology and Management of Natural Resources
  • Human Dimensions of Natural Resources
  • Tools and Technology
