Environmental Science
The University of Idaho’s environmental science program provides an interdisciplinary approach for students committed to studying science associated with air, water and soil. The program provides students with educational and research tools which enable them to analyze and search for solutions to local, national, and global environmental problems. Faculty from throughout the university, including soil scientists, engineers, biologists, ecologists, geographers, political scientists, sociologists, economists, chemists and hydrologists, work across traditional disciplines to provide you with a comprehensive education in the hows and whys of environmental problem solving.
A mixture of live and Web-based courses are offered in order to meet the needs of full- or part-time students and working professionals.
