Default Coverage

If you do not enroll within 30 calendar days of hire or job status change, coverage will be activated through the default selection as follows:

  • Medical: High Deductible Health Plan- employee only
  • Dental: Standard Dental- employee only
  • Vision: VSP- employee only
  • Life Insurance: 1x salary (base from employer)
  • Short-term Disability: 50% coverage (base from employer)
  • Long-term Disability: 50% coverage (base from employer)
  • Retirement: VALIC (Faculty/Exempt for 2014 only)
  • No pre-tax FSA
