, Director of Human Resources
Brandi provides direction, management and leadership to the HR functional areas and directly supervises or oversees Employment Services, Benefit Services and the front office staff. She acts as a liaison between HR and external constituencies to facilitate communication and to ensure the coordination of HR programs and services. Brandi is also responsible for the planning, implementing, and administering of the University’s comprehensive medical, dental, life, disability, leave and other benefit programs.
Abigail Dallas, Benefits Specialist - Leaves
Abigail is the Leave Specialist for the Benefits team. She advises and provides assistance on employee health and welfare benefits program. She aids in the administration of family medical leave (FML), short term and long-term disability, workers compensation, and COBRA. She also leads the Benefits Orientation for new hires.
Kendra Rathbone, Benefits Specialist- Eligibility / Leaves
Kendra specializes in Benefit Eligibility for employees. She advises and provides assistance on employee health and welfare benefits program and also audits benefits deductions. She aids in the administration of family medical leave (FML), short term and long-term disability, workers compensation, and COBRA.
Judy Colbeck, Benefits Specialist - Retirement
Judy aids in the administration of all aspects of the University Retirement plan. She conducts compliance reviews, audits retirement records, performs calculations and provides guidance and assistance on retirement issues in person, on the phone and through email. She provides assistance and audits records for the following retirement systems: PERSI, TIAA-CREFF, VALIC, FERS, CSRS and CSRS Offset, and the retiree medical program.
, Benefits Specialist - Retirement
Kim handles Retirement Counseling and Planning for Classified employees and the processing of vendor payments. She conducts compliance reviews, performs calculations and provides guidance and assistance on retirement issues in person, on the phone and through email. She provides assistance and audits records for PERSI.
, Benefits Technician
This position is responsible for administering the employee benefit deductions process; responding to benefit-related questions and researching problems; training department users on Benefits on line; and assisting in benefit processing. This position manages the vendor payment process, including claims, fees, and ad hoc payments. The Benefits Technician also provides customer service support in resolving general and complex benefit issues.
