Basic Technology Requirements

You will need access to a computer with an Internet connection and an email account.
Additionally, you will need to be able to digitize images of your work. A digital camera that connects to your computer is the most efficient.

Students must have a 2.80 GPA

The Department of Art & Design does not require the GRE for the MAT degree programs at this time.

  1. Application fee and completed application. Online at: Graduate Program Application
  2. Official transcripts from every college and university you have attended should be sent to Graduate Admissions directly from those schools. Citizens of non-english speaking countries must submit TOEFL scores.
  3. Resume or Curriculum vitae
  4. A slide portfolio of 20 clearly labeled slides or a CD, in PowerPoint format only, and a detailed corresponding slide list. Portfolios must include a self-addressed postage-paid return envelope if materials are to be returned.
  5. A detailed, written statement of academic and career objectives/goals.
  6. Three letters of recommendation using the Letter of recommendation form in PDF format.
