PALOUSAFEST
Palousafest is a free event on the University of Idaho campus. The Chrisman Battalion Army ROTC will have an information table set up with opportunities to register for the Military Science 1 and 2 classes and sign ups for the Raft trip in August.
RAFT TRIP
The Chrisman Battalion raft trip is conducted to build Esprit de corps in the cadets and students of the Army ROTC and the University of Idaho. It is in August . For a very in-expensive ticket price this trip includes transportation to and from Riggins Idaho, the complete raft trip by Salmon River Excursions and a snack for breakfast and lunch during the raft trip. This is a great way to have the raft trip experience and to meet the future officer leadership of the US Army.

RAPPELLING
Rappelling is included in the Military Science courses for the adventure aspect and to teach students to overcome their inherent fear of heights and to trust their equipment and training. Rappelling is conducted in both the fall and spring semesters. The fall rappel training is more of an introduction with classes and a 35 foot wall rappel at the fire station training facility in Moscow, where the Rappel training in the spring is a 90 foot free rappel in the Kibbie dome.
