Project One: Building Detective

Overview

The purpose of this project is to learn to make the connection between the spatial characteristics of a building and the underlying structural system, and to hone your skills of observation. We will visit and analyse two buildings during class, focusing on structure, materials, building code and other related issues. Then each student will be assigned a third building to visit, analyse and report back on.
