Sponsored Projects
There are currently
several planting projects
available for individual sponsorship. The cost
to sponsor a project ranges
from $2,500 to $5,000.
This cost covers the expenses of the project and provides
$1,000 to the Arboretum’s Centennial Endowment
to help provide funds for maintenance and development
into the future. Sponsors become lifetime members of
the Arboretum Associates. They will be recognized with
a 5x7” aluminum sign within the project, and a
listing in ArborNotes,
the newsletter of the Arboretum Associates.
Endowment Gifts
A gift to one of several endowments
that sustain the Arboretum
provides support in perpetuity
since the principal remains invested and
only income is spent each year.
Current named endowments that
support the arboretum are:
Arboretum
Associates Centennial Endowment
Norma and Gene Slade Arboretum
Endowment
Elisabeth Zinser and Don
Mackin Arboretum Endowment
Presidential Oak Grove Endowment

generate income to be used according
to the donor’s wishes and provide long
term funding for projects.
Gifts can be added to any of the established endowments or
a named endowment
can be established for a
minimum donation of $25,000.
