ARI faculty members have appointments in one or more Colleges at the University of Idaho and provide the link between ARI and the Colleges. ARI supports graduate and undergraduate student research and education, although ARI does not itself offer degrees. ARI students typically receive degrees from the
Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences in the
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences or the
Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources in the
College of Natural Resources, although ARI students are not limited to those Colleges. Potential graduate students must first be accepted by the University of Idaho
Graduate School and then by the department in which they wish to study.
