Vandal Crest Wine Varieties:

Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2009 Award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from the first Cab. vines planted in Washington state.  Boasting a rich and opulent body with a surprisingly smooth finish that leaves your taste buds asking for more!

Pair with red pasta sauce dishes, charbroiled meats or rich chocolates.

Vintage: 2009

Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills, WA

Chardonnay

Known as the "Queen of the Burgundy Grapes," our Chardonnay presents itself with an intoxicating floral bouquet.  Light oaking gives this wine a well-balanced body while its buttery character makes it the perfect companion to seafood dishes, cheese fondue or white sauced pasta.

Vintage: 2008

Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills, WA

Merlot

This 100% Merlot inherits its full body from 8 months aging in American Oak.  More tannic than our Cabernet Sauvignon, our Merlot's inviting aroma and supple tannins linger on the palate while maintaining its character smooth finish.

Serve with hearty red meats or braised lamb for an unforgettable dining duo.

Vintage: 2008

Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills, WA

Pinot Gris

These Pinot Gris vines grow five miles from the Columbia River at the Champoux Vineyard--rated one of the top ten vineyards in Washington state.  Crisp citrus flavors explode on the palate while maintaining this wine's refreshingly light finish.

Perfect for warm summer evenings or alongside pasta, grilled chicken or salmon.  Serve well chilled.

Vintage: 2010

Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills, WA
