The Idaho Commons was alive with Vandal Pride last Thursday. Alumni, students, faculty, staff and representatives packed every open balcony in the building to be part of University of Idaho 125th Anniversary Day. College of Law Dean Don Burnett gave a rousing speech, the Vandaleers sang the alma mater and the Vandal Marching Band belted the happy birthday song into the open air.
Now that the confetti cannons are packed up in Moscow, that doesn't mean the celebration has come to a close. This party train is rolling all year long
with a social and dinner cruise in Coeur d'Alene July 24 and another gathering in Idaho Falls Sept. 24.
Help us keep the Vandal Spirit close to our hearts by telling us how you've contributed to our legacy. Have a favorite Vandal memory to share? Share it by emailing email@example.com

This commercial ran during halftime. Take another look!

Vandal Documentary at D.C. Film Festival
Ana Overgaard's documentary debut following two-time National Memory Champion Nelson Dellis is headed to the DC Independent Film Festival Feb. 19-23. The 2013 graduate shadowed Dellis for over a year from one memory competition to the next to make the piece.
Dellis' capabilities stretch much further than the day-to-day battles of the average individual. He's not memorizing a grocery list or putting names to a room full of strangers. He's competing in memory competitions at the national and international level and holds U.S. records for memorizing a shuffled deck of cards in 63 seconds and 303 digits in 5 minutes. The documentary will show at 7 p.m. ET Feb. 22 at the US Navy Memorial Heritage Center.
