There's a new Tradition Keepers book in town!
Sure, you may think you know all the history and tradition behind our great university, but you're sure to learn more from this enthralling book filled with vibrant photos and a ton of Vandal Spirit.
In an effort to excite student and alumni engagement and cultivate a memorable college experience, the University of Idaho Student Alumni Relations Board gathered past and present traditions into a book, including the history of our alma mater, summaries of more than 50 traditions, photos and an incentive program.
The Tradition Keepers book describes our university traditions, past and present. By visiting campus landmarks like the "I" Bench and the Administration Building steps, or taking part in campus events like the Borah Symposium, Jazz Festival and Homecoming, participants come closer to becoming a University of Idaho Tradition Keeper. After completing 15 traditions, a participant will receive a silver Tradition Keeper lapel pin. After earning 35 tradition points, a participant is awarded a Tradition Keeper medallion to wear at graduation or keep as a memento of their commitment to Idaho's history.
Of course, to be full-fledged Tradition Keeper, the last task is to continue the Idaho legacy of leadership.
