In an effort to excite student and alumni engagement and cultivate a memorable college experience, the University of Idaho Student Alumni Relations Board gathered past and present traditions into a book, including the history of our alma mater, summaries of more than 50 traditions, photos and an incentive program.
The "I Book" describes our University traditions, past and present. By visiting campus landmarks like th I Bench and the Administration Steps, or taking part in campus events like the Borah Symposium, the Jazz Festival and Homecoming, participants come closer to becoming a University of Idaho Tradition Keeper. By completing 15 traditions, a participant may receive a silver Tradition Keeper lapel pin. After earning 35 tradition points, a participant is awarded a Tradition Keeper medallion to wear at graduation or keep as a memento of their commitment to Idaho's history.
Of course, to be full-fledged Tradition Keeper, the last task to continue the legacy of leadership that truly is an Idaho tradition.
