What’s your major?
I'm an art major. I've always been interested in all things visual and have an emphasis in photography, which I've been doing for many years now.Why submit a design for this contest?
Mainly, I thought how cool and exciting it would be if I won and was able to see so many people wearing something I designed. I thought it was a good way to let students have a say in what shirts we receive and wanted to make something I think everyone would enjoy. I also thought it would be good practice, since I design the shirts for my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, as well.How do you think your design represents UI?
I think it makes a statement about pride in our school. It incorporates the positive and wild vibe I think our campus has and shows that we support our sports teams. I hope everyone feels that way while wearing it.I hope everyone enjoys their game day shirts, because I'm going to enjoy seeing so many people wear them!
