Tim Woodward

Tim Woodward is a retired reporter and columnist whose stories graced the pages of the Idaho Statesman for four decades. He is most known for his newspaper columns about the people, places, landscapes and events that make Idaho special. His work has become a touchstone for residents. Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter made that point in a nominating letter when he wrote: “I join countless other Idahoans who looked forward to Woodward’s next story because of his unique ability to bring to life so many aspects of our great state.” Woodward recently wrote and narrated “Idaho, the Movie,” a stunning documentary on the Gem State’s natural wonders.
