Technical Advisory Committee

The Technical Advisory Committee is responsible to and makes recommendations to the Oregon, Idaho, and Washington Agricultural Experiment Station Directors through the Administrative Advisory Committee.

Responsibilities:

Assess research and education needs across the tri-states and cooperating agencies
Receive input from the Industry Advisory Committee and the Administrative Advisory Committee regarding the RFP, proposal technical review, and the distribution of the Special Grant funds.
Provide advice and counsel through interaction with the Industry Advisory Committee on future directions, funding, and reporting grass seed research activities.
Organize an annual meeting to provide comprehensive reporting and planning for the research and technology transfer projects being funded.
Prepare the RFP, organize and conduct technical review of proposals, and recommend proposals for funding.
Prepare a comprehensive annual report including research projects conducted by Agricultural Experiment Stations and the Agricultural Research service.
Chairs will serve as a member of the Administrative Advisory Committee and Industry Advisory Committee.
