Meet Vice President Ben McLuen
Ben came to the University of Idaho in 2020 as the associate vice president for development and led the development team in two years of record-breaking fundraising in collaboration with the greater advancement team. He is also the director of the Brave. Bold. Unstoppable. campaign, in which the university is more than two-thirds of the way to its goal of $500 million. The campaign will build support for university initiatives focused on student success, sustainable solutions, and a thriving Idaho.
Prior to joining our team, Ben led the development teams for the Division of Earth Systems Science at Oregon State University Foundation and the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences at Washington State University. During his time in development, Ben served in key organizational leadership roles to plan, execute and advance the goals of these respective institutions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Eastern Washington University.
