Located in the Idaho Commons Copy & Print Center, the Large Format section of the Copy & print Center primarily prints images larger than 12" x 18" to larger format printers. Large Format printing is not open on the weekends, however, prints which are ready for pick-up may be picked up on Saturdays the Idaho Commons Copy & Print Center is open.
Large Format Color Prints
The standard turn-around time is 24 hours or one business day. Express RUSH is available (4 business hours) with a fee of $5 per foot.
We offer two widths of stock for the Large Format full color printer, 36" and 42", and three different types of stock: a 46# heavy weight coated paper, a satin/semi-gloss paper and a polyester outdoor banner fabric (36" only). Both paper stocks are suitable for lamination and mounting (on to foam core).
Printable widths are 35.4" and 41.4"and we are able to rotate your image to best fit the media. A current price list is available after logging on to the online job submission web site www.printonline.uidaho.edu.
Oversize Black and White Prints
Standard turn-around times are about 4 hours.
We offer two widths of paper for the Large Format black and white Xerox printer, 24" and 36", and two types of paper, 20# white paper and Vellum (24" only).

Lamination and Mounting
Our oversize laminator can accommodate posters up to 36” wide. We offer a gloss, matte and sticky-backed product. We also offer mounting packages from print to finished product, ready to display. Laminations and mounted orders are generally ready within 24 hours or one business day.
Large Format Scanning
Standard turn-around is within four hours except on Friday after 1PM and weekends. Scanning is available for single or bulk documents. There is a minimum of $2.00.
NOTE: We are not responsible for file inaccuracies, or storage media errors. We cannot guarantee the quality of enlargement requests. We are responsible only for errors that occur during the imaging process.
