Position and Job Descriptions

The position description is developed between the department administrator and the faculty member to reflect the calendar year expectations for the faculty member. The position description provides the basis for the annual performance review of the faculty member and a frame of reference for consideration for tenure and/or promotion. 

The Results Oriented Job Description (ROJD) establishes the expectations for classified and exempt staff positions. The ROJD is typically developed for the advertisement of the position and serves as the basis for the annual performance review of the employee.
