Updated Course Deadlines

The chart below is designed to clarify the changes to General Requirements and Academic Procedures C – Changes in Registration that will take effect during the summer 2012. These deadlines are for full semester courses only. Courses falling into the first or second eight week part of the semester will have shorter deadlines as well as summer session offerings.

Add, change variable credits, or change section online	Through sixth day of the semester
Late Course Add, change variable credits, or change section – paper form	Seventh day through tenth day with instructor permission
Drop Course online	Through tenth day of semester
Withdraw Course online (drop with W) - $5 fee charged	Eleventh day to the end of tenth week
Change from credit to Audit – paper form	Through tenth day with instructor permission
Change from credit to Audit with W –paper form	Eleventh day to end of tenth week with instructor permission
Change from A-F grading to Pass/Fail – paper form	Through tenth day with advisor/major professor permission
Withdraw from University (see regulation G) – paper form	First day of the semester through end of tenth week

Students wishing to take action after the deadline will need to submit an academic petition through their college.  Registration deadlines can be found on the Office of the Registrar’s website, http://www.uidaho.edu/registrar/registration/deadlines.  

Reminder: The W credit limit for undergraduate students was increased from 20 to 21 credits.
