The 2013 University of Idaho 10th Annual Advising Symposium will take place on Friday, September 13, 2013 the theme is “Advising GPS:  Guidance, Performance, and Support”.

This one-day conference is geared toward faculty and staff who advise students at community colleges, colleges, and universities throughout the northwest.

Just like a GPS that can be recalibrated to find a new route, academic advisors need direction on how to guide students on a path toward success. Advisors must continuously update their knowledge and skills to guide and support the 21st-century student.  By sharing our best practices and new ideas, advisors will be able to provide students with the tools necessary for successful academic performance.
