    Our students, faculty and staff are engaged in a vast network of powerful partnerships through statewide campuses, laboratories, research and extension centers, and outreach programs. These resources provide connections to individuals, businesses and communities to help improve the quality of life of all Idaho citizens and secure the economic progress of our world.

    • Contributes nearly $1 billion to Idaho’s economy through the combined activities of the University and its alumni. That’s nearly 2 percent of the state’s economy.
    • Offers degree programs and community learning throughout the state of Idaho, with Extension offices in 42 counties and on three Indian reservations, and 11 regional research and extension centers.
    • Named to the Presidential Honor Roll for Community Service (PDF) again in 2013 and one of only five institutions in the Pacific Northwest awarded "with distinction" status. In 2011-2012, an estimated 3,800 students participated in international and local community service projects.
    • Increased outreach to non-traditional and minority students, including military veterans and their families, and Hispanic youth.
