Awards for Excellence
Each year, University of Idaho celebrates excellence through a series of awards recognizing the achievements of faculty, staff and students. These honors highlight the individuals who go above and beyond in teaching, research, mentoring, service and collaboration — driving innovation and strengthening the university community. By acknowledging these contributions, the university reinforces its commitment to academic and professional excellence while inspiring others to lead, create and make a meaningful impact.
Student excellence awards
University of Idaho students are honored for their achievements through two major recognition programs: the Alumni Awards for Excellence and the Student Achievement Awards.
Alumni Awards for Excellence honor outstanding seniors, graduate students and law students who demonstrate academic excellence, contribute meaningfully to their fields and make a positive impact on campus or in the community. Recipients are nominated by employees.
Student Achievement Awards recognize individuals and student groups who have significantly contributed to campus and community life at University of Idaho. Nominations are submitted by faculty, staff and fellow students.
