QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer
QPR is an evidenced-based, 1hour training program that will help faculty, staff and students respond to someone who is in a mental health crisis and thinking about suicide. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives.
Participants will learn to:
- recognize the warning signs of suicide
- know how to offer hope
- know how to get help and save a life
